After started writing, i started hunting for information from various resources on the internet. After doing some research, I came to know that there are a lot of wonderful websites which discuss about a lot of wonderful topics. One among them is zen pencils. Zen pencils is run by Gavin Aung Than, a freelance cartoonist from Australia. The site mainly focus on visualizing inspirational quotes in the form of cartoons. Cool isn’t it ?
I found it really cool when i stumbled upon the site by accident. I found great artwork, excellent choice of quotes and some really cool freebies (wallpapers and posters). I recently came across a wonderful visual quote from the site which i would like to share here.
After seeing the comic, i felt that its very much true and happening to a lot of people around us (including our own self). But we often push those instincts aside and continue to run around wearing the cloak of a normal/average man. We come to this world as an ordinary man and we often wish to go as the same.
A few years back (even now!) i used to think that being famous is highly difficult . So its good to lead life of a normal man. On practical grounds, this wish of mine is sensible. But sometimes i raise a question to myself that why we all settle for something if we are actually capable of doing more. If i knew the answer i would be a great philosopher.
Questions come and go. But we often settle in our comfort zone and get cozy in there. we never take a step to come out and see what’s out there. We often come to a conlusion by hearing others say that “it’s bad out there”. But you don know it until you get out and see what’s really there.
I recently saw the movie “Croods” where the father of the lead female character used to say that the cave they live in is the safest place. But only when they come out, they will realise what it feels like to be in the real world. I think we all should take that step atleast once in a while. Its a small test to see how crazy are we and how confident are we to take a step and walk forward
I haven’t made that step yet. But will soon take a step.
If you are planning to…All the best. If you have done that already, do send in your story. It will be featured on the blog
